To get started, you'll need a PayPal Business Account. Once you have that, follow these simple steps to set up the integration:
Create an Application in PayPal Developer Settings
Head to PayPal's developer platform to create an application and get your Client ID and Secret Key.Go to this page: https://developer.paypal.com/
Log in using your PayPal Business Account credentials.
Navigate to the APPS & Credentials section and click on the Create App button.
After creating the app, you’ll see your Client ID and Secret Key—you’ll need these for the integration in ChatPlace.
Set Up the Integration in ChatPlace
In your ChatPlace account, go to the PayPal integration settings here: https://app.chatplace.io/integrations/connect/?label=paypal
Copy your Client ID from PayPal and paste it into the Client ID field in ChatPlace.
Copy your Secret Key from PayPal and paste it into the Secret Key field in ChatPlace.
Add the URL for your return page. If a customer clicks the return button in the payment form, they will be redirected to this page.
Click the Connect button to complete the integration.
You're all set! The PayPal integration is now ready to go.
