How to transfer a client from one automation to another

This guide will help you understand how to automatically move a client from one automation to another without requiring any trigger actions from the client.

The "Run automation" action in the automation builder allows you to initiate another automation for a client as soon as they reach a specific block. This enables a smooth transition to a new process without requiring any additional input from the client, such as entering keywords or clicking special links to activate the next automation.

How to configure the "Run automation" action

  1. Create an "Action" Block in the necessary part of your automation scenario.

  2. Select the "Run Automation" action in the block settings.

  3. Choose the automation you want to launch for the client from the list.

In the action settings, there is a parameter called "Run automation for referrer."

When enabled, the automation will not be triggered for the client but for the referrer who invited this client. In this case, the client passing through the block will not be affected by the automation. Only the referrer will receive the messages.

This feature is useful for scenarios such as notifying the referrer when they successfully invite a friend or when their referral completes specific actions.

How the "Run automation" action works

  • This action can be assigned to both a block and a button.

  • Once a client reaches this block, the new automation will automatically begin for them.

  • The client will not even notice the transition, as the scenario will continue seamlessly as if it were part of the same automation.

This action greatly simplifies the client interaction process and allows you to set up automatic transitions between different stages of user engagement.
