To configure the automation you’ve created, click on it and open the builder. Here's what the workspace looks like:

What features are available in the ChatPlace automation builder?

  1. Message block: used for sending text messages, quick replies, buttons, links, images, videos, audio, or documents.

  2. Condition block: used to check the conditions that determine when different messages can be sent to a client.

Features: checking account subscription (Instagram only), assigned tags, time, date or day, gamification points (Instagram only).

  3. Action block: designed to perform actions that can influence the flow of the automation.

Features: delay between messages, add a tag, remove a tag, redirect to a flow, work with gamification points (add / remove), collect client data (e.g., phone number or email), send a post from an Instagram feed, and place a heart sticker (Instagram only).

  4. Note block: an auxiliary block for leaving notes within the automation builder.

This block can be used when the automation scenario is large, or there are multiple people working on it, or it requires note updates.

    This article provides more details.

  5. Flow management block: designed to divide automation stages into smaller parts (similar to layers or sheets in documents). Use it in large automations with many blocks. You can access it by clicking the Flow icon:

    Available actions:

    • Create a new scenario

    • Change the name of an existing scenario

    • Set a scenario as the start scenario (the automation will be activated from this scenario, indicated by the Start ► icon)

    • Delete a scenario

To move from one scenario to another, use the Action block → Redirect to Flow. Example of the flow:

To access a specific flow, click the Scenarios icon, then select the scenario where you'd like to continue managing the automation (creating / editing).

  6. Tools for managing the builder:

    • Assign a trigger to start the automation (a condition or action that will initiate the automation).

    • Add a Message, Condition, or Action block

    • Adjust the scale of the flow (zoom in or out)

    • Expand the flow to full screen (change the zoom so that all automation blocks are visible on one page)

  7. Elements seen when hovering over Message, Condition, or Action blocks

    • Set as start block

A Start icon at the top of the start block means that it is the first element of the automation. The flow logic begins exactly from this block. The start block cannot be deleted.

The start block can be a Message, a Condition, or an Action block.

    • Copy block

    • Delete block
