What is this action and why is it needed
The Gamification scores action allows you to modify the number of points for players participating in gamification in both Instagram and Telegram. Points can be added or deducted, depending on how you set up the action.
This action enables you to set up various tasks for players, allowing them to earn points not only for their activity on your account or channel but also for their interactions with the chatbot.
Please note! To use the Gamification scores action, you will need the Unlimited plan or the Pro Plan with the additional "Gamification" package.
More details about ChatPlace plans, can be found here.
How the Gamification scores action works
This action can be applied to change points for either the client, the referrer, or both players simultaneously:
Client: The person who is going through the scenario or automation.
Referrer: The person who invited the client through a referral link or code.

Points on the leaderboard are changed immediately, even if the game is paused.
Points are awarded on the leaderboard even if the player does not meet the game’s conditions and restrictions.
Setting up the action
In the "Action" block, select Change gamification scores.
In the settings, specify:
Action type: add or deduct points.
Who should receive the points: client / referrer, or both players.

How to use in the automation builder
Create and set up the Gamification scores action.
Set up restrictions to prevent players from earning points multiple times by using tags to track and verify their progress.
Important! Always set up protection to prevent players from re-earning points using tags. Be sure to carefully review your automations to avoid any potential loopholes. Otherwise, players could take advantage of these gaps and accumulate unlimited points.
Using in gamification
With this action, you can:
Create tasks for players that will allow them to earn points for completing specific actions.
We recommend designing interactive and diverse tasks for players that will not only provide a way to earn extra points but also give clients insights into your business.
For example, tasks could include reposting a story with a tag or providing correct answers in a quiz.
Implement a prize store, where players can exchange their accumulated points for various bonuses or products.
Thanks to the prize store, no one will lose in your game. In addition to the main prizes for the game leaders, you can set up an exchange of earned points for different items, such as guides, promo codes, consultations, discounts, etc.
In the automation, add the Gamification scores condition and set the number of points needed to obtain a given item. For this condition, please note the following:
If there are enough points, use the Gamification scores action to deduct the number of points equal to the item’s cost.
If there are not enough points, you can offer the player a bonus task, such as tagging your account in their story or inviting friends to the game, in order to earn the necessary number of points.
