There are two ways to change your ChatPlace password:
Change password in your account (if you know your current password)
Click your account avatar in the bottom-left corner.
In the popup, select “My Account” → go to General Settings.
Enter your current password, then enter a new password.
Click “Change Password”.
✅ Done — your password is now updated.
2. Recover your password (if you don’t remember it). Make sure you have access to the email associated with your account.
On the login page, click “Forgot Password”.
Enter the email address you used to register.
Check your inbox — you’ll receive an email with a password reset link. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it.
Click the link in the email and create a new password for your account.
✅ Done — your password is now updated.
If you previously logged in via Facebook or Google, but for some reason this login method is no longer working or suitable for you, create a password for your ChatPlace account.
Use the password recovery method described above.
Enter the email associated with your Google account if you used Google login, or the email linked to Facebook if you used Facebook login.
You will receive a password reset link via email.
After creating a new password, you will have two login options:
Using your email and password
Or continuing to log in with Google / Facebook, depending on your original login method.
