Unfortunately, this issue may occur with certain Telegram channels. Telegram does not always send information about post reactions to Telegram bots. As a result, our service cannot receive the necessary data to award points.
This limitation is on Telegram’s side, and technically it cannot be fixed.
So, before launching the game to your audience, we highly recommend testing whether reactions are being counted correctly in your leaderboard.
How to test:
Create a game and enable points for reactions in the game settings.
Launch the game.
Add several reactions to different posts in your channel.
Check the leaderboard.
If you appear in the leaderboard and reactions are recorded: everything works correctly! You can safely launch the game for your audience 🚀
If, after testing, all other actions work, but reactions still do not award points — unfortunately, there are no alternative technical solutions to fix this issue.
The only recommendation is to exclude reactions from the game mechanics. Simply do not enable the “points for reactions” option in your leaderboard settings.
This will prevent confusion for players and help you avoid negative feedback.
