This block helps track how many users completed a target action — such as clicking a link, receiving a lead magnet, completing a survey, making a purchase, etc.
Conversion is the percentage of users who performed an important action in the automation (e.g., clicked a link or submitted their phone number) compared to the total number of users who triggered the bot.
It’s expressed as a percentage and appears in automations like this:
For example: If 100 clients triggered the automation, and 80 of them clicked the link, received the lead magnet, and passed through the conversion tracking block, the conversion rate would be 80%.
How to set up conversion tracking
To track conversions in an automation, you need to add a special action: "Make conversion." Here’s how to do it:
Open your automation and find the target action in the funnel (e.g., a message offering a lead magnet).
Create a new Action block right after this target action.
In the block, select the action "Make conversion."
Now, every user who completes the target action (for example, clicks the link and receives the lead magnet) will be counted as a conversion.
When a user passes through this part of the automation, the conversion will be tracked automatically.
Here’s what it will look like:
How conversion tracking works
As soon as a user passes through this part of the flow, the conversion is automatically recorded.
For example, if the user clicks the link and receives the lead magnet, their action will count as a conversion.
Important:
Each user is counted only once, even if they click the button multiple times.
If the "Make conversion" action is placed in several parts of the same flow, the user will still be counted only once.
When to add conversion tracking in multiple places:
If your automation has multiple branches and the user can choose only one of them, you should add a Make conversion action in each branch to ensure accurate tracking.
Where can I see the results?
The conversion data is displayed in the Analytics section. We cover that in a separate guide.
