Why it’s useful. Promo codes let you can extend your current plan, upgrade to a better plan, get full access to all tools temporarily, and also they help you explore ChatPlace’s features and grow your account more effectively.
Where to find it:
Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner
Select “My Account”
Go to the “Bonuses” section
In the center of the page, you’ll see a field where you can enter your promo code:
You can enter the promo code in this field and click the "Activate" button. If the promo code is valid, the conditions will be updated after activation. To apply the changes, refresh the page.
Important: You must have a linked bank card in your account to activate any promo code.
How to link a card:
If you try to activate a promo code without a card, the system will prompt you to add one
Go to the “Billing and plans” section
Add a payment method
After adding the payment details, wait 5 minutes for the information to update in the system. Then refresh the page in your browser — your payment details will be saved.
After waiting, simply re-enter the promo code for it to apply.
Common situation: You were on a specific plan, and then a promo code became available. When trying to activate it, the system may display a message saying the current plan is not eligible. This means the promo code is intended for the minimum Pro plan. A button labeled “Config plan” will appear below — click it.

In the window that appears, remove any extra features that don’t match the plan. Promo codes often apply to the basic Pro plan, which doesn’t include additional accounts, team members, or gamification. Remove all unnecessary features, click “Save configuration,” refresh the page, and try applying the promo code again.
If you need extra accounts, team members, or gamification — you can add them after activating the promo code.
Note: If you’re on the Unlimited plan, you won’t be able to use a promo code intended for the Pro plan — it’s not compatible and cannot downgrade Unlimited.
However, you can upgrade from Pro or Trial to Unlimited using a promo code.
There are two types of promo codes:
Subscription-extending: Pushes the next billing date forward by the number of days specified in the promo code.
Activating (replacing): Starts a new subscription for a fixed period and cancels the previous one.
Important: If you have an active paid plan and want to activate a promo code that replaces it — it's best to wait until your current subscription ends to avoid losing paid days. Applying the code early will cancel your current plan.
