This is a quick way to create automations through a Telegram bot β€” even from a mobile device. With it, you can set up lead magnet delivery with subscription verification in just a few minutes.

πŸ”— Step 1. Link your Telegram bot

Before proceeding with the automation setup, you need to link your Telegram bot.

Learn how to do this by following the instruction.

βš™οΈ Step 2. Creating automations

After linking the bot, open the Automations section.

At the top of the list, you'll see a button for quickly creating automations using a keyword.

Click on this button to start creating an automation.Β The setup process includes three stages:

πŸ“± Preview

  • Use the preview feature located in the top right corner on your mobile device:

At any stage of the setup, you can see a preview of how the bot and the user will interact:

Saving drafts

All data is automatically saved as a draft. If you exit the automation settings, the parameters and messages will be saved:

When you try to create the automation again, the system will offer you to set up the draft saved earlier or to create a new automation:

πŸ“Œ Stage 1. Parameter settings

Select an account

If you have several accounts linked in your project, select the Telegram bot to apply the automation:

Check your channel subscriptions

Activate subscription verification to ensure that only subscribers receive the lead magnet:

To enable your bot to verify subscriptions:

  • Add it as an admin to each channel. See the instructions on how to do it.

  • After that, select the necessary channels in the list.

If you enable subscription verification, the system will check whether the user is subscribed to all selected channels and will not proceed unless they are subscribed to at least one of them.

Launch triggers

Select the message from the user that will trigger the bot.

Launch trigger settings - You can choose one of the two options:

  1. /start command β€” activates the bot and initiates the main automation.

  2. Message with keyword β€” the user must enter a specific word or command (set up via the command menu).

Instructions for setting up the command menu are provided here.

  • Exact match β€” the client's message must exactly match the trigger. For example, the "price" trigger will not activate if the client writes "what is the price."

Once you've set up the first stage, click "Next" to continue.

πŸ’¬ Stage 2. Message settings

Welcome message

You can add an image (square image, JPG/PNG/GIF, up to 5MB).

  • The message can be up to 1000 characters long.

  • The button label can be up to 20 characters.

If subscription verification is enabled, make sure to include a list of channels in the message that users need to subscribe to in order to receive the lead magnet.

Message when the user is not subscribed:

Provide channel links and a message encouraging subscription. You can change the button label (e.g., "Check subscription").

This button is reusable β€” the bot will not continue until the user has subscribed.

Lead magnet delivery

Write your message, choose the button label, and insert the link to the bonus. This will be the final message shown after a successful subscription:

Scenario without subscription verification

If you don't need subscription verification, the scenario will consist of two messages: "Welcome message" and "Lead magnet delivery."

πŸ”§ Stage 3. Additional settings

Reminder to open the link

The bot will automatically send a reminder if the user doesn't click the lead magnet button within 10 minutes.

Creating and testing automations

Once you've set up the automation, click "Create", and the chatbot will activate immediately and start responding to clients.

Now your Telegram bot is ready!

To test the automation, send "/start" or a keyword from a different account.

You can also create a link to start this automation if you direct users to your bot from different sources (e.g., from Instagram).

Instructions on how to create such a link are provided in this guide.
